Who We Are
Kids need adults who care. That’s why people join Kiwanis clubs. We are a local group of like-minded volunteers who make a difference. Friends. Neighbors. Anyone who loves serving together to change people’s lives for the better. Kiwanians are part of a global network of clubs and members who partner with each other and with organizations whose missions align with ours. All around the world — and in communities like ours, Northfield, Linwood, Somers Point and Ocean City, New Jersey — Kiwanis is serving the people and especially the kids who need us most. And this year we are celebrating 50 years as a “K Family” chartered club.

December 6 - 6:00 PM Our club will participate in the Somers Point Christmas Parade. Contact John Capasso.

December 16 - 6:30 PM Christmas Social, Potluck Holiday Dinner at Mike Ridgway home, 1060 Woodlynne Blvd., Linwood. Special guest will be from Ranch Hope. Contact Mike Ridgway by Dec. 13 with what you are bringing. Thanks Mike for again opening your home to Kiwanis friends!
December 20 (Saturday): Giving Day. Drop off donated items to Creative Learning, 515 Hamilton Ave., Linwood, 11 AM - 1 PM. Beneficiary: Shore Memorial Pediatric Wing/Sensory Room. Items Needed: New stuffed animals, coloring and activity books, any handheld game or fidget that can easily be played with while in bed. (Not board games. Not anything with a lot of parts.)
